Gilman Shackford (1828-1864) - husband of Celia G Wormwood served with Co B, 8th Maine Infantry. He died at Hammond Hospital from wounds on August 14, 1864. He is buried in grave 12609 in Arlington
Seth Ring Shackford (1754-1777) - son of Samuel Shackford and Elizabeth Ring. He was 23 when he was killed in action on October 7, 1777 while serving in Capt Frye's Company, Colonel Scammell's 3rd New Hampshire Regiment. at Saratoga, New York.
Walter Emory Shackford (1847-1865) - son of John William Shackford and Mary Cole McLelland. He was 18 when he died on April 27, 1865 from injuries incurred at "Five Forks" in Dinwiddie. He had been serving as a Private in Company H, 5th Regiment, Virginia Calvary
