William remained in Newmarket his whole live where we find him listed with has occupations of farmer, gentleman (1860 census), a notary, a justice, and a coroner. William and Entwinett had five children: John L, Mark William Walker, Charles Henry (died before William's will was written), Martha Catherine who married Henry C Howard, and Mary Elizabeth. William wrote his will on May 13, 1878 and died seven years later on September 3, 1885 of paralysis. It is interesting that he does not mention his wife in his will as she did outlive him by ten years.
