The will of George A. Bennett
Will George A Bennett Newmarket
Be it known that I George A. Bennett of Newmarket County of Rockingham and State of New Hampshire being of sound and disposing mind and memory and considering the uncertainty of this mortal life, do make constitute and publish this, my last Will and Testament, in manner and form following, that is to say:
1st: -
I give bequeath and devise to my son Robert G Bennett, my homestead farm situate in said Newmarket, with all the privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging and appertaining, to have and to hold the same to him and his heirs and assigns forever.
2d:-
I give bequeath and devise to my daughter Helen C. Bennett, the sum of one
thousand dollars, to be paid to her by Executor hereinafter named; also in
addition the above bequest I further give my said daughter Helen C. Ben-
nett a home in my house, on said farm, and in the family therein to have
and to hold to her as long as she shall remain single, and unmarried.
3d:-
I give and bequest to Kate Niles Morse daughter of my daughter Mary B. Morse
the sum of one hundred dollars to be paid to her by my said Executor, to have and
to hold the same to her and her heirs forever.
4th.-
All the rest residue and remainder of my property and estate, however situ-
ate, and wherever found, I give bequeath and devise in equal shared to my six
children, to wit: - Robert G. Bennett, Mary B. Morse, Helen C. Bennett, Annie L.
Edgerly, Harriet B. Cate, and Abbie S. Hodgdon, to have and to hold to each of
them and their several heirs forever.
5th:-
I hereby constitute and appoint my said son Robert G. Bennett sole Executor
of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former wills by me
at any time mad_ and executed.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth
of June A. D. 1890.

last Will and Testament in presence of us, who, at his request and in his
presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as
witnesses thereto.

Codicil:
Whereas I have heretofore made my will and testament bearing date the
fourteenth day of June A. D. 1890, I now execute this codicil to said will
and direct the same to be taken as part thereof.
1st:-
Instead of the bequest of one thousand dollars to my daughter Helen C. Ben-
-nett in said will, I now bequest to her the said Helen C. Bennett the
sum of twelve hundred dollars.
2d:-
I bequeath to my grandson George A. Bennett Jr son of my son Robert C. Bennett
the sum of one hundred dollars to have and to hold the same to him and his
heirs forever.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirtieth day of
August A. D. 1897.
