Louise was born Sept 16, 1894 in Chicago, Illinois and was residing at 644 Oak Street in Winnetka, Illinois when she requested this passport. According to the passport, she was living at 644 Oak Street, Winnetka, Illinois in 1924 and had the occupation of teacher. We know from other sources (her father's book about the Otis family) that she had attended Bryn Mawr and Northwestern University studying science and chemical engineering and was a member of the Northwestern University faculty.
Louise was planning to leave on board the U. S. President Harding on June 12, 1924 to travel to England, France, and Switzerland. We don't know anything about her trip at this time but thought it would be great to share her photograph.
