Samuel was the son of William Shackford and Deborah Shackford and married Abigail Richards around 1695. She had at least seven children: Elizabeth, John, Samuel, Abigail, Mary, William, and Joshua and died sometime before May 1716.
Frances Hoyt, the daughter of John Hoyt and Mary Barnes married Nathaniel Peobody around 1701. He died in November 1715. We do not believe they had any children.
We've found multiple sources including the Land Records that show that Samuel Shackford and Frances Hoyt Peobody married on May 10, 1716. They were married about 15 years before Samuel died about 1731.
