Samuel B Shackford - 1/2 of real and personal estate when he arrives at age 21 provided he stays with his mother and helps carry on the far and the other 1/2 whenever Nancy ceases to become Samuel's widow

SAMUEL SHACKFORD'S WILL
In the Name of God Amen I Samuel Shack
ford Jr of Barrington in the County of Straff
or and State of New Hampshire being of a sound
and Disposing mind and memory considering
the uncertainty of this life and being Desirous
to settle my worldly affairs while I have strength
and capacity so as to do Do make and publish this
my will and testament and therein and thereby
Dispose of all my worldly estate in manner
following to wit
Firstly my will is that all my just debts and
Funeral charges be paid by my executor,
out of my estate
Secondly I give and bequeath and Devise
unto my beloved wife Nancy Shackford
all my real and personal estate I may die
possessed of so long as she remains my
widow except what is herein otherwise dis
posed of
Thirdly I give and bequeath unto my son
Samuel B Shackford one half of all
my real personal estate I may die possessed of
when he arrives at the age of twenty one years
provided he stays with his mother and helps
carry on the farm and also the other half of
my real and personal estate I may die possessed
of not herein otherwise disposed of whenever
my wife ceases to be my widow.
Fourthly I give and bequeath unto my dau-
ghter Eliza Ann Hale one dollar with what
she has had is her share.
Fifthly I give and bequeath unto my daug
ters Mary W Shackford Lucy M Shackford
Abigail B Shackford Caroline J Shackford
when they are married fifty each of them to
be paid by my executor and also the east
chamber in my house with wood cut up for
for a fire as long as they remain unmarried.
Sixthly I give and bequest unto my sons
John W Shackford George W Shackford
Charles H Shackford fifty dollars each
of them to be paid out of my property by
my executors.
Seventhly and lastly I hereby nominate cousti
tite and appoint my wife and William
Hale to be Executor of this my last will
and testament in witness whereof I have hereunto
set my hand and seal this fifth day of October
one thousand and eight hundred and thirty two
