MISS OLIVE SCHLEY WEDS.
Becomes the Bride of William Moore Shackford at St. Bartholomew's.
The wedding of Miss Olive Schley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William T. Schley, to William Moore Shackford, took place yesterday afternoon in St. Bartholomew's Protestant Episcopal Church, Madison Avenue and Forty-fourth Street. The Rev. Dr Leighton Parks performed the ceremony, which was followed by a small reception at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Schley, 17 West Fifty-second Street.
Miss Schley made an unusually handsome bride in her long trained robe of orchid embroidered satin, trimmed with old point lace.
Her attendants were her sister-in-law, Mrs Reeve Schley; Mrs. Max Behr, formerly Miss Evelyn Schley; Miss Margaret Hubbell, daughter of Mr and Mrs George Loring Hubbell, and Miss Anna Shackford, a sister of the bridegroom. Their frocks were of pink chiffon over pink satin, and their large pink satin hats were trimmed with large pink tulle bows.
Mr Shackford's best man was his brother, Lieut. Chauncey Shackford, U. S. N., and his ushers were Reeve Schley, brother of the bride; Gardner Perry, a cousin of Mr Shackford; Arthur H. Hagemeyer, Augustus Skillin, Benjamin Hotchkiss, Lawrence Slade, Morris H. Mundy, and Arnold L'Hommedieu.
Mr Shackford is the son of the late Commodore William G. Shackford, U. S. N.
