This photo of Leslie G Shackford, the son of Edward Wallace Shackford and Clara R Gardner was found in a May 29, 1904 article in The Saint Paul Globe article about the Commercial Travelers. He was 36 years old. The article says:
More than 2,200 commercial travelers in the Twin Cities and upwards of 4,000 in Minnesota, the Dakotas, Manitoba and Assinibota will be represented this month at Winnepeg eleventh annual session of the grand council of Minnesota, the Dakotas and Manitoba of the United Commercial Travelers of America.

F. W. Faber, senior counselor; M. H. Sherod, junior counselor; H. E. Newton, past counselor, J. M. Dresser, secretary-treasurer; B. M. Hirschman, conductor; L. G. Shackford, page; L. J. Cleary, sentinel.
Another photo of Leslie can be found at WorthPoint.com (search for Shackford or PHOTO OF A HANDSOME YOUNG MAN). Worthpoint states that the photo was sold on eBay in 2007 and mentions that it was accompanied by the following description: This is a cabinet photo of a handsome young man. It has With the Compliments of Yours Sincerely Leslie Shackford written on the back of the card. The card measures around: 4.25" by 6.5" Photo is out of a collection from MA. Photo was taken by Hooker from St. Paul.
