YOU having been duly appointed administrator of the estate
of John Shackford late of Eastport in
said County deceased.
deceased, and taken up on you that trust by giving bond faithfully to discharge the duties thereof as the law directs; are
hereby directed to give notice of the same within three months from date hereof, by causing the same to be published in
the Eastport Sentinel a public newspaper
printed in Eastport in said County
as well as by causing notifications thereof to be posted up in some public places in said
Eastport an affidavit of which, with an original notification
(or a copy thereof) you are to make and file in the Probate Court of said County of Washington, within seven months
from the date hereof, that the same may be there recorded and when occasions should require it, used as evidence of the
time, place and manner in which such notice shall have been given.

Administration Notice.
The subscriber hereby gives public notice to all concerned, that he has been duly
appointed and taken upon himself the trust of administrator
of the estate of John Shackford late of Eastport
in the County of Washington deceased, by
giving bond as the law directs; therefore requests all persons who are indebted to the said deceased's estate, to
make immediate payment; and those who have any demands thereon, to exhibit the same for settlement to him

That agreeable to the order of the Hon. Jotham Lippencott, Esquire,
Judge of the Probate of Wills, &c., for said County, dated the twenty third day of
September last, he did within three months from the said date, post up
notifications, whereof the foregoing is a copy, at two
public places in said Eastport and causing the same to be published
in the Eastport Sentinel.
SWORN TO, by the above named Benjamin B. Shackford
at a Probate Court for the County of Washington, holden of Eastport in said
County, on the ninth day of June A. D. 1870
