A largely-attended wedding took place last evening in the Monument Square M. E. Churh, between Miss Cora A Shackford, daughter of Mr and Mrs Nathaniel Shackford of Charlestown, and Rev Charles Tilton, pastor of the City Point M E Church, South Boston. The couple were united in the bonds of matrimony by Rev W T Perrin, pastor of the church, after which ceremony a private reception was held at the residence of the bride, on Union street. The ushers were C W Marsh, Frank Dantforth and Thomas Hodgden of Charlestown, and Heury Munday of Cambridge. The happy couple will reside in South Boston.
Cora A Shackford was born March 22, 1860 in Lowell, Massachusetts. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Shackford and Mary Cleaves. Believe they lived in Salem and then returned to Boston.
