We've been searching for more source information about Samuel Shackford who helped raise ten children, six of whom lived past the age of 80. So far we've only found that he carried the title of Esq, was married to Nancy Buzzel on Jan 1, 1806 by Eliphalet Merrill in Northwood, New Hampshire, is most likely the Samuel Shackford who was the Barrington Town Clerk in 1817, and is probably the Samuel Shackford listed in Barrington in the 1830 census. We'll hopefully find and share more information about this gentleman in the future.
Thanks again to Jeffrey James for taking pictures of these gravestones and posting them at FindAGrave where they could be found by distant cousins with an interest in SHACKFORD family history.
